REDC Appoints Robbie Grady as New Board Director

The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robbie Grady to its Board of Directors. The REDC Board and President Laurel Adams welcome Robbie as a new Director and look forward to having her expertise and voice within the organization.

Robbie has worked with small business owners for over 20 years. She earned a BA from Wheaton College and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development from University of Central Texas. As an Air Force civilian, she spent 9 years counseling military members or military spouses and developed a pilot program for the Department of Defense that would help members or spouses with small business ownership.

Robbie became the first executive director of the Goffstown Main Street Program, a downtown revitalization non-profit. She worked with town departments and business owners providing advocacy for the business district. She attained the distinction of being a Certified Main Street Manager by the National Main Street Center. She has spent time consulting with other communities and served as the interim director of the Laconia Main Street Program as well.

Robbie retired from full-time employment in 2014, but she remained active as a volunteer with SCORE developing a series of workshops for small business owners and providing mentoring to clients in a wide range of industries. She completed her training as a NH Granite State Ambassador providing travel and tourism services. She is a past-president of her local Rotary club and is now an Assistant District Governor for Rotary supporting five different local clubs.

Robbie is looking forward to learning more about the work of REDC and continuing to use her skills to support local businesses.

She stated, "As someone who has worked with many small businesses owners who have often struggled with finding the financing they need to bring their businesses to the next level, I have long admired the work of the team at REDC. I know the difference they have made in the communities they serve by combining lending and technical assistance. I am excited to be part of this team!"
