THRIVE

THRIVE Grant Competition

The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) is currently hosting the THRIVE Competition Series, a collection of business competitions that will provide money and momentum to help growing small businesses thrive in New Hampshire. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, REDC will award a total of $30,000 in grant prizes through four different competitions.

Equipment Grants

REDC offers grants of up to $5,000 for qualifying for-profit New Hampshire businesses with five or fewer employees to purchase equipment or machinery. 

Grant funding is limited and not guaranteed. Grant eligibility is based on specific requirements, set forth by the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA), which will be reviewed during the intake process.

New and Growing Child Care Centers

Grant Program

Do you own a child care center business in Manchester that could use grant funds and business counseling to develop your business? With funding from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, REDC has available, on a limited basis, grants for child care businesses that are:

  • based in Manchester, NH,

  • for-profit,

  • and that need working capital, equipment, and supplies. 

The grant range is $5,000 to $10,000. Grant funding is limited and not guaranteed.

CDFA Microenterprise Direct Grant Impact Report
2023 - 2024

REDC has participated in facilitating the Community Development Finance Authority’s (CDFA) Microenterprise Direct Grant program in the past year. This program provided $5,000 equipment grants to micro-businesses in New Hampshire.

These grants, although modest in monetary value, have had a profound effect on the small businesses they have supported throughout New Hampshire.
